Admission Requirements at Universal Vocational Institute
Our Admissions representatives are ready to help you through the admissions process. We will take the time to explain each step and help you select the medical training program that best suits you. This is also the time where you can get specific questions about the school answered.
All applicants must:
- Complete the admission to Medical Vocational Institute
- Show proof of high school graduation. (standard high school diploma or a general equivalency diploma GED)
- Students who are less than 18 Years of age, a parent or legal guardian must sign the Enrollment Agreement.
- All accepted students must complete an Enrollment Agreement.
Transfer of Credit
Universal Vocational Institute reserves the right to accept or deny the transferring in of clock hours/credits received from another school. The granting of credit for prior learning or exams cannot exceed twenty five percent (25%) of any program. Programs and tuition will be adjusted according to the number of hours/credits accepted by Universal Vocational Institute.
Any student, who began a program at Universal Vocational Institute and wishes to transfer to another program, will receive credit for courses passed and tuition will be adjusted accordingly. Students who transfer out of Universal Vocational Institute to another institution may receive their transcript reflecting their hours and grades, providing that all financial obligations have been met by the student to UVI. The acceptance of the transferability of credits is the decision of the receiving institution.
